Thermocouples

A thermocouple is a component of the kiln used to read the temperature within the kiln chamber. The controller uses the information it receives from the thermocouple and makes decisions on whether or not to turn the element on or off.

Relays

A Relay is a simple electromechanical switch. Your kiln controller sends out an electrical signal to the relay, which in turn turns the power on or off to the heating elements.

Elements

The correct element specifications are critical to the safe and efficient performance of your kiln. Elements can vary between models and within the same kiln, so be sure to order the factory recommended elements for your model and install them in the correct positions.

Controllers
